Solid Start!
Funded Aug 3, 2023Thank you for helping my classroom get off to a great start this year! My students had their homework folders ready to go from day 1! This resource helps me keep consistent and clear communication with families regarding homework, forms needing to be returned, or important notices that students can keep at home.
The writing utensils you provided are still going strong months into this school year! The flair pen lends a finished look to all of our art projects and the dry erase markers allow for precision in white board writing. These artists and writers are flourishing, thanks to your support!”

Funded Nov 30, 2022Thanks to you I have found my reading curriculum! Since I started using the updated Heggerty book and the UFLI curriculum, my students' reading confidence has skyrocketed. Before starting these curricula, my students seldom "fought" over books...now I have to get multiple copies of the same books as they all want to practice their new skills.
One student has begun mainstreaming in the Gen.Ed. classroom as a result of the systematic instruction I am now able to provide that matches the UFLI instruction in the Gen.Ed. 2nd grade classroom. I'm looking forward to using these texts throughout the remainder of the year and showing my students the progress they've made. Thank you so much for your contribution. I wish you could see the difference it has made like I see every day in my classroom's confident readers.”

Funded Apr 21, 2022We are entering the final week of the school year! Thank you for all the resources you helped us with. My students were so excited to see all the big boxes filled with materials for them. I think the water writing boards and the sand writing trays were the favorites of all. These materials have transformed handwriting and spelling activities that can be dull or repetitive into artistic and sensory endeavors.
The next steps for my classroom include continuing to use these materials at a higher level of precision. Thanks to these materials I've observed a significant improvement in my students' fine motor skills and I intend to further those skills with more challenges and activities (e.g., completing spelling assessments with the Satori Boards). Thank you again!”

Funded Dec 24, 2020My students were so thrilled to receive their own sets of magnetic letters. I arranged a pick up day at my school. Families and students alike expressed appreciation for such a fun and engaging resource.
We've been using the magnets for asynchronous assignments (e.g., putting the lowercase letters in order and putting the uppercase letters in order). During synchronous work we've been playing "find the letter of the week." They find the letter (strengthening visual discrimination) and say they sound. Since there are multiples of the same letter, they get multiple opportunities to find the letter and say the sound.
Distance learning has been hard but students have again exceeded expectations. When we return to in class in two weeks they will bring back their letters so they have their own set to use as cross student sharing will not be permitted at this time. Thank you for stocking our classroom and helping us keep it safe!”

Funded Dec 22, 2019My students were so excited to open the boxes that arrived right after the holiday break. Our dress up center is now the most popular center in the classroom. The baby dolls, likewise, were immediately adored and my students have demonstrate such care when playing with them. I've been able to collect multiple language samples while my students act out the roles of firefighter, police officer, doctor, vet, parent, etc. These materials have brought an element of play and care to my classroom that was not there before. We so appreciate your generosity to our kindergarten classroom!”

Wiggles and Giggles Help Us Focus!
Funded Apr 23, 2019These wiggly seats have been so helpful in my classroom. They have provided the opportunity for students to safely get their wiggles out during instructional time without distracting themselves or others. I have many students with compromised vestibular function and these seats have been so helpful in providing them with movement and balance feedback. These seats have also helped me as a teacher! If I have a student who is all over the place, and I'm starting to get impatient (it happens to all of us!) I can give them one of these options and provide them the wiggle space they need while not compromising on instruction. Thank you again!”

Eureka Math Toolkit!
Funded Apr 2, 2019I cannot tell you how these materials have made our math lessons come alive! We've been using the bears and rekenreks 3x a week during math instruction (specifically, EurekaMath). My students love the bears and are always excited when I take them out for use. The rekenreks have been so helpful with 1 to 1 correspondence and especially helpful for my students who are learning English as a second language. This year, I have a split class (TK & K) and these hands-on materials make word problems and counting and cardinality practice memorable, fun, and effective. Thank you, again!”

Glorious Food!
Funded Mar 27, 2018Thank you so much for contributing to my classroom! My students were so excited to open the boxes with me. It felt like Christmas Day! The materials you supplied helped me implement purposeful play activities into my classroom. The food and dining set toys encouraged language development as students pretending to work at a grocery store, at a restaurant, and as a home cook. Students used the gardening tools to start seeds and transplant seeds into a raised bed for our gardening unit. The students felt strong and independent as they got to use real rakes and real shovels! Thank you for supplying well-made realia that contributed to my students' language development. We all thank you!”
