Right now the only holiday books we have are very outdated, ripped, and missing pages.   • Brighten Our Room with Color!

    Thank you so much for your very generous donation. You have no idea what it means for these children to have crayons to color with. At the kindergarten age children learn to express themselves by drawing- and it is no fun when you have limited colors and broken crayons. The children in my class do not even have crayons or paper at home so I will also make little gift packs so each child can bring a few crayons home. Your kindness will be very appreciated by the children of K-3.

I teach a class of delightful first and second grade students. They attend a Montessori school in South Florida. We have a great mix of many different nationalities and cultures. It always fascinates me to watch them interact with each other. Having two different grades in the same room lends itself to a lot more mentoring and emulating than a typical classroom environment. I feel the children really learn to respect one another in a different way. Peace and kindness is a large part of our curriculum.

About my class
