As a new school counselor I am searching materials that will help me support our students. Many of my students in 4th and 5th grade suffer from an array of social emotional problems. A lot of the issues that we thought were Middle School and High School issues are trickling into Elementary School; issues such as cutting and suicide. These workbooks will be great resources to help the students address and work through their situations and be able to focus better on academics. Many times these social/emotional issues are ignored and not really understood by many that haven't experienced them.
