The daily use of the 10 Chromebooks, headphones, and charging station will help prepare my students for middle school, high school, and for many, college. Students will be taught how to use the Chromebooks to conduct Internet research, use educational websites, and create written documents and multimedia presentations. Using the computers for these tasks will save students time while increasing productivity and learning. Our kids are brilliant and they deserve basic educational resources.
My goal is to provide students with the technology necessary to facilitate optimal learning opportunities and expand the personal boundaries of what they can accomplish by increasing efficient use of technology in the classroom and providing individualized differentiated instruction as well as shifting the responsibility of learning to students.
This will also promote collaboration and increased student engagement while building capacity for students. Finally, it will assist students in developing the skills and acquiring the knowledge needed for academic success.
