    Funded Apr 9, 2025

On behalf of m students, I want to extend our heartfelt gratitude for your generous contribution to our classroom. Your support has made a lasting difference, and we cannot thank you enough for investing in our students' growth and development.

Thanks to your kindness, we now have a collection of imaginative toys that have truly transformed the way our students engage with learning. These toys encourage creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration, helping students develop problem-solving skills in a fun and interactive way. From building intricate structures to creating stories and scenarios, the toys foster an environment where students feel inspired to explore and innovate.

Imaginative play not only strengthens their cognitive abilities but also helps in the development of social-emotional skills, as they work together, share ideas, and learn empathy through role-playing. The impact has been profound, and it's clear that these resources are igniting a passion for learning in ways that traditional tools often cannot.

  • Read to Me About Me

    Funded Mar 25, 2025

My students have fully enjoyed reading books that show diversity and include stories that are representative of them and their families. The impact of having books that include words they are familiar with, such as Abuelo, has been exciting for students. You can see the delight on their faces when they feel included and represented while we are reading. Diversity in books helped our students build cross-cultural friendships by showing them that people tend to be more alike than different. Thank you for making this possible.”

My students have enjoyed using the stress balls and back massager as a way to relax and exude extra energy in order to better focus during specific therapy tasks. • Sand Dreams

    Funded Jul 17, 2024

Kinetic sand can have a significant impact in a therapy room. Its unique texture and properties make it an excellent tool for sensory play, helping clients engage in tactile experiences that promote relaxation and focus. This type of play can encourage fine motor skills, enhance creativity, and support emotional regulation.

In addition, kinetic sand can serve as a calming resource for clients who may feel anxious or overwhelmed. The act of manipulating the sand can provide a therapeutic outlet, making it easier for individuals to express themselves and explore their feelings.

A heartfelt thank you for supporting my students and making these resources available! Your generosity helps create enriching environments that foster healing and growth.”

  • Squeeze Me

    Funded Feb 14, 2024

My students squealed when they came in the room and saw new squish balls. They were elated. It is amazing the impact an object as simple as a stress ball can have on a child. My students used them to help stay focused when we were reading books aloud. They were used to help students stay attentive during assessments. Each day that students were in the speech room the stress balls and other squishies were in use.

Thank you for providing this simple means of attention and focus for my students. We all greatly appreciate the impact that your generosity has provided.”

Right now our school does not have a designated space for meeting a child's sensory needs. My students' sensory needs are not met by the normal day to day activities of school. A trampoline will offer a means of gaining appropriate sensory input in a safe manner. Fidget toys will engage their hands and minds in order to assist their focus for daily learning activities. The diverse culture and specific needs of our school are not easily met in the general education classroom. Offering a specific location for these items will help to engage them in a calm and safe environment, regulate their bodies and ease anxiety throughout the day.
