My students would greatly benefit from tables in our classroom. We are currently using old desks that are falling apart and have been vandalized by previous students. They also don't have much space inside their desks to fit all of their books, and the top of their desk is too small. Next year, my students will be using Chromebooks to do a majority of their math lessons. The tables will give them lots of space to manipulate the computer and their books. They won't have to worry about their desk falling apart or not being able to fit all of their books in their desk! I know they will enjoy having more space!
