• Let's Keep It Data Tracking!

  Thank you for investing in my scholars! You ROCK! Data tracking is vital to measure my scholars' growth in preparation for their 8th grade Math MAAP exam in May. Each assessment and benchmark must be tracked to show student growth. My scholars were very excited to see these boxes of much needed supplies (folders, highlighters, etc). With these supplies, I am able to hold scholars accountable for their data and they are able to track to ensure they are progressing forward. Scholars are able to see where they are from 7th grade and where they should be by the end of the school year. I cannot wait to show you their growth.”

• Back to School Supplies

  Thank you for investing in my scholars. These were much needed school supplies to enhance the learning environment. Students have been able to use supplies and not feel embarrassed about not having supplies for class. Classroom boarder was used to add a little color to the class. Sticky notes were a great addition to introducing material and accessing prior knowledge. The students were very excited when they saw the boxes. They knew someone cared enough for them to make sure they had something needed for math class. Your donation truly helped my classroom and scholars. Thank you again.”

• Let's Finish Strong!

  Thank you for investing in my classroom and helping us keep the momentum going for the remainder of the school year. My students and I have endured much this academic year and the last thing I wanted my kids to worry about was supplies. As we prepare for state test review, my students needed basic supplies to take notes and finish year strong. The snacks were incentives to games and good behavior. Students were very eager to remain on task and participate in class when they had the things they needed and snacks were incentives.

  My students saw they boxes and said, "oooh look, someone donated to us again. I wonder if its snacks. It's probably paper and pencils because we need that." I allowed each to class to open a box and put up the items. They were so happy for items, especially the snacks, but realized they would have to use the material for review anchor charts.

• Let's Colorfully Annotate Math Notes!

  Thank you so much for investing in my classroom. These items have enhanced my classroom and built student confidence. We use the highlighters for identifying key words and important information for math problems. At first, students did not know how to utilize the materials and started highlighting everything in problems as key words. They assumed this was some new strategy we were going to try to help them better understand the concepts and prepare for their math benchmark exam. Once they understood the purpose and how to effectively utilize the resources, it became a game changer. My students enjoy these resources so much, they will ask for them at the beginning of class if they are not placed at their desks to use. Your donation has made a tremendous difference in my class.
