Circuit Builders
Funded Jan 20, 2024Thank you so much for your generous donations. The students were so excited when they saw the different circuit kits full of different activities. They saw how to build a circuit to get a fan motor running and how to turn on the lights, etc. They also enjoyed learning about different circuit pathways and working collaboratively with each other. They read about circuits and were able to make connections with these hands-on materials. These kits will be used by many more students to come. We are so grateful for you and appreciate your time and generosity.”

STEAM for Young Learners
Funded Nov 29, 2022Thank you for your generosity. When the Legos and marble runs were delivered, the students were super psyched! They love it so much that they ask to play with it every chance they get. It has made a large impact on our students' growth and development. It helps with their creativity and imagination through play.
Students feels successful in many ways, where they start off building small structures then add to their builds. They learn it's ok if their build doesn't turn out the way they would like it the first time. They have many opportunities to work together and be hands-on. Thank you.”

Funded Dec 6, 2021The students have worked so hard these couple of months in the computer lab as well as in their classrooms. So it was super fun to give away new and exciting prizes from the prize box! I was able to raffle off prizes in every class so everyone got a chance to win something across all grades. They loved their pop-it watches, fuzzy animals, bubbles, light-up rings, and more! It's also very motivating and positive for the students. We are deeply appreciative of your generosity and it's positive impact on all our students. Thank you!”

Enhance Our Digital Creations
Funded Mar 25, 2019The students were thrilled and excited about the Makey-Makey STEM pack, Merge Cubes, and green screen. They've never used any of these tools before and got to create game controllers and test out the games they've created on Scratch as well as others. They also got to explore augmented reality using merge cubes and interacted with the cube and apps. With the green screen, the students saw how films are animated and developed. They also used it to take photos with fun backgrounds and create personalized cards.
I can't thank you enough for your generosity and kindness in helping me build a better future for our students.”

Robots and More Robots in the Classroom
Funded Dec 5, 2018The students were thrilled and excited about the new robots in the classroom. They've never seen them before so it was super exciting for all of us! They were able to download the supported apps to run and control their robots. They made Sphero and mini Sphero go through mini obstacles and used them as game controllers.
I'm glad they were exposed to this so early in their education, this can help build their interests in fields of coding, science, technology, and math. I can't thank you enough for your generosity and kindness in helping me build a better future for our students.”

Robot Mice Go Forth and Find Cheese!
Funded Jul 30, 2018Thank you so much for your generous donations. We are so grateful for your kindness. My students are having so much fun with robot mice. They have been learning algorithms and sequences. They are building their computational thinking skills. They are racing each other to get to the cheese. Furthermore, they look forward to technology every week and ask if we're using robot mouse again. My next step is to build more game boards such as mazes, sight words, and math facts so students can use robot mouse in other ways.”

Coders Need Osmo to the Touch
Funded Feb 17, 2018Thank you so much for the Osmo kits. The students were ecstatic when I shared the new toys we received. They couldn't wait for their turn to explore and experiment with Words, Numbers, Tangrams, and even Coding with Awbie. They loved having tangible pieces and seeing their actions come to life. Your generosity made this possible for not only this year's students but for more to come, and we can't thank you enough. We are grateful to be part of a wonderful and committed community. Thank you very much!”
