  • Books I Can Read!

    Thank you for supporting my book project for my students. The kids love having books that they can read! These books are just the right level for them to begin to feel like experienced readers. They love being able to take the books home and read them to a family member.

    I have been using the books to help the students recognize sight words and basic sentence structure. It is so much fun for them to search through a fun, colorful book, for words that they know. We also work of on story elements such as sequence and cause and effect.

    I believe these books will be treasured for years to come! Thank you again for your generosity. May you have a blessed new year!!”

  • Wiggle, Wiggle, Work!

    My students love using their "blue wiggle balls"! We use them every day and are learning to use them for longer periods of time. They have learned that their feet must stay on the floor and just to make little bounces. The students really benefit from the movement and exercise these seats provide them during the day. Whenever we need a physical break, we have these as an option and they are amazing. We use them in conjunction with music and educational videos. Every adult who comes through my class comments on how cool these seat are. I am truly grateful for your generosity in giving me the funds to purchase these. I look forward to many years of use from them.”

My students will be able to practice reading these books independently in class, and most importantly, they will be able to take them home! The resources I currently have are not allowed to go home because they belong to the school. Books like Pete the Cat and Biscuit, will present leveled text and intriguing pictures that students will love. Readers are built upon reading success! In order for my kindergartners to love reading, they need the tools to practice with. These books will provide that tool. Parents will also be able to see what level of books their kids need to practice reading and have a hands on example of appropriate texts.
