Students need hands on activities to cement their knowledge. Ours is the first time these children have been taught these objectives since second or third grade and this is the first year they are tested on these objectives. The microscopes will make learning the differences between plant and animal cells much easier since they can look at it through a microscope. Osmosis and diffusion are difficult to teach without a station and often without a station the students are unsuccessful. These items will be a great addition to our end of year review as hands on activities will cement the teaching that has been taught through the year.
