The requested materials such as coloring pencils, markers, scissors, glue, and the pencil sharpener will allow students to record and decode Science information in a colorful and creative way. I am attempting to expose my students to other means of remembering and comprehending Science content. I want to teach them that all knowledge is not black and white. The lack of resources really impacts my students. So many of them cannot afford the necessities or luxuries that are needed to make learning fun. At the end of the school year, their interactive notebooks will follow them to the next grade. My hope is that it can be a resource that can continue to expound upon their STEM knowledge.
