The power to make choices is a strong motivator for students. I have attempted to design my classroom in a way that provides numerous types of alternative seating options and workspaces. I have the perfect space for two stools at a high top table, but my instructional budget does not cover the cost. I am hoping that through the generosity of others I can provide my students with this alternative seating option. Currently I have cobbled together flexible seating options for workspaces by taking legs off tables, wheels off rolling chairs, and bringing in furniture from home. Any help you can give will be greatly appreciated!
