    Thank you so much for your donations! This project has guided my students towards meeting their educational goals! The task boxes have helped to support and encourage independence in the classroom and has provided my students with the opportunity to work at their own pace.

    The Individual task boxes that have been created for each student are tailored towards the specific level in reading, math and life skills they are on, their current learning goals and various needs. The task boxes my students have been loving are color matching, basic shapes, emotions, counting, weather, clothing, food, seasons and animals.

    The materials that were purchased from your generous donations have helped my students to be more hands-on and more engaged in their learning. It has provided them sense of independence and ownership of their education!

Task boxes will be used during independent 1:1 time and for a variety of small group work throughout the day. They will help students to be hands-on and engaged in their learning and also provide them with a sense of independence. Task Boxes are perfect for promoting independence in the special education classroom! Individual task boxes will be created and tailored to each student’s specific level, learning goals and needs. The task boxes will focus on IEP goals, math, ELA and basic skills ( color matching, basic shapes, emotions, weather, clothing, food, seasons and animals etc.). Laminating sheets and Velcro will help to ensure the activities be used over and over again.
