In an effort to incorporate different resources that will help with reading skills, I would like each student to receive a subscription to TIME for Kids Magazine. It is an excellent addition to our curriculum as it contains several informational articles that are vital to teaching the different standards and subjects in third grade. I will use it to supplement reading and writing skills, social studies, and science. My students will use TIME for Kids to enhance literacy skills and engage in informational text about current events. The magazine is unique because it debuts real life children making a difference, current events, topic debates, and online supplemental resources.
