  • Motivated Learners

    Funded Dec 4, 2024

Thank you for your generosity as well as your consideration. It has been incredibly rewarding to recognize students for their hard work and effort with the incentives we received.

Students were smiling from ear to ear when they heard the wonderful news about our project being funded. It feels good to celebrate learning with incentives that acknowledge and validate student work. Without donors such as yourself this would not have been possible. We thank you again for making our project a reality.”

  • Mac Learning

    Funded Nov 5, 2024

Thank you for your generous donation. Our MacBook Pro is already making a big impact in the classroom. I am able to connect to our Promethean Board and project the computer screen, student work, educational videos, interactive learning tools, and visual aides to promote student learning. Students are engaging with content in a fun and interactive way. This is contributing to making learning accessible, dynamic, and fun. Students are also benefiting from gaining access to current technology that they will need to be familiar with for the future.

Without your consideration, our project may not have become a reality. We thank you again for your generosity which is making a difference with student learning.”

    With gratitude,

    Mr. Mabra

  • Counting Collections

    Funded Sep 9, 2024

The items we received for counting collections have been a tremendous success in the classroom. Students were thrilled when they saw them and their excitement has persisted. The counting objects have been used to develop students' one-to-one correspondence, cardinality, and number sequence. As an extension activity, students are writing number sentences and number stories that match their collections. These activities have noticeably increased motivation and confidence levels in math.

The counting items will continue to be used to build number sense during counting collections. The hands-on experience will allow students to talk about math as a language while creating meaning and understanding.”

  • Learning Through Literature

    Funded Sep 20, 2022

Thank you for your generous donation. Your support of our students has had an immediate impact. The books are a spark for creating meaningful conversation surrounding social emotional learning. Learning emotional intelligence is a skill students will be able to carry throughout their lives.

Books are read whole group to students. While reading books, students are asked questions to check for understanding. After finishing the book, students are engaged in an activity and conversation that reinforces the overarching message of the book. Students are then encouraged to share their work. This process helps to ensure that all students are able to fully engage with the story.”
