The materials I am requesting will be very appreciative and a great asset to the class. I am a 3rd grade Math teacher and I want to make teaching and learning math as fun as possible. I teach at a Title I school which mean the surrounding communities are underserved. With these math manipulative's it'll make learning fun without just sitting at their desk being lectured. Spot the Error, math activity game will help the students identify and be able to solve problems on the PARCC assessment. We are currently learning about fractions and the Fraction of Pizza game will give the students real-world experience while learning in the classroom. I have noticed that my students they are some that are still struggling with Elasped time telling. If I could get the Elasped Time Write activity, this will be a great asset and helping my students learn more about telling time.
I want to bridge the achievement gap and allow my student's to enjoy math! I have a lot of students that come from ALL around the world. My students come from El Salvador, Mexico, Iraq, Afghanistan, Nigeria, and many other wonder countries. Some of them just came to America and I want their first schooling experience to be rewarding.
By donating these items for the class it'll be greatly appreciated!
