This is my first year in my very own classroom. My students are gaining independence in their reading ability and I need a way to organize their materials. During literacy centers and math centers, the students in my classroom are split into five different groups. The 10 bins are for 5 reading centers and 5 math centers. I can keep all center materials in once space and quickly set out centers for my students to work on. For each student to have their own book bin would greatly benefit my organization and preparation. For one, the students like to have their own space in the classroom. Then I will be able to provide the students with differentiated activities that to support their own independence. The math manipulatives will allow a bit of play in our classroom, but also different materials to build with, sort, count, and use during stem lessons.
