  • Making Cents

    Funded Nov 30, 2021

Thank you for providing access to books about money management. I believe that the students are building knowledge and personal financial understanding when reading about financial situations (fiction & nonfiction) as well as improving their personal literacy. Investing, saving or spending and thinking about needs verses wants are things our youth need to consider when making purchases. Reading about experiences with money will help young people think about the value of the dollar. Of course the most popular titles are the ones with the word "millionaire" on the cover. It's good to have goals.”
