Theater Curtains In The Classroom

Thank you so much for the donation of the red curtain to our classroom. Since last year, we have moved the location of the red curtain, and it is now a big focal piece in our classroom. When the students enter at the beginning of the year, it fills them with so much wonder and joy! Students are excited to come to theater class, because the red curtain is a sign that magic happens in our classroom.

When the students first saw the red curtain last year they were thrilled! We were able to perform in front of the curtain, and it added the professional feeling of being an actor that the students deserve the feel. We also used the space to rehearse for our Spring Musical last year and this year! The students know from the minute they walk in the door, that our classroom with the beautiful red curtain is a creative, performative and magical space.”
