The addition of theater curtains to our classroom will create a more inviting, interesting and engaging space. This project is about appealing to students' imagination. There is something magical about walking into a theater. The sights and the sounds spark our imagination and excite our senses. By reinventing some of those elements in the classroom, we hope to capture a bit of that magic for the students. We are also asking for help with purchasing some basic items that are needed in the classroom. This includes pencils, crayons, pencil sharpeners and more. All of the items requested are critical components that reinforce the feeling of safety and comfort in the classroom. Please help us in bring some magic to Bushwick! Thank you for your consideration.
