The students who enter my classroom each day come in with a variety of abilities. Our school is located within a great community, but is in a high poverty district. Despite anyone's economic status, my students love to learn. Starting out in 5th grade Math, I set one major goal for myself and my classroom, to make learning FUN! Now that I have moved to 6th grade and am teaching STEM, I still want learning to be fun! I want to spark a desire within them to be life long learners who have are always pursuing knowledge. I love to provide them with every opportunity that I can to explore engineering, technology, designing, coding, problem solving, and critical thinking. Every student should believe that they can accomplish anything, despite their abilities or limitations!
