  • Dressing Up Our Tiger Boys for Performances!

    Funded Feb 24, 2018

    We just received the twelve suits and they are awesome! The sizes run small so there were two of the bigger boys who would need to get sizes 18 and 20, but there is still time to find something that fits them.

    Our boys could not wait to try them out and we have one less issue to worry about thanks to you. On Friday, I was advised by our music teacher that our students have four upcoming performances, so the suits came in just in time. We have 18 boys and 12 girls representing us in March and April. We are all excited and we feel loved and appreciated as you choosing our school.”

A great number of my students are ELL/ESOL who were displaced during the earthquake in Haiti and relocated to South Florida several years ago. More than half of my students have no access to basic commodities in their households, including school supplies and uniforms. Almost everyday, I have to try to accommodate a child who came to school out of uniform because they just migrated from an impoverished or devastated island or their parents cannot afford to purchase what is needed for school. Unfortunately, due to limited funding, I am running out of ways to provide uniforms and am seeking your donations so that I can have thirty-six shorts, uniform overalls, skirts and polo shirts to assist students in need of uniforms.
