  • Backpacks and Handsoaps for a Healthy School Year!

    Funded Dec 7, 2021

Thank you so very much for supporting our school and fully funding my "Backpacks and Handsoaps for a Healthy School Year!" project request! Because of your generosity, students who were in need received backpacks full of supplies, and handsoaps that will keep them safe and prepared for success. We just recently ran out of the Dial hand soaps and it helped quite a number of students who were in need. None of this would have been possible without your continued support of public schools. We truly appreciate all that you do.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Dirosier

  • Cooking Utensils and Kitchen Appliances Needed for Healthy Cooking/Baking!

    Funded Dec 20, 2021

I would like to sincerely thank you for donating to my "Cooking Utensils and Kitchen Appliances Needed for Healthy Cooking/Baking!" project request and having it fully funded.

We have just started back doing face-to-face baking projects and the students love not having the COVID restrictions as they are able to interact and explore food in a group setting.

The cooking items are suited for older students and they are learning measurement in a real-life setting I love to see their faces when they make the connections between math, science, and creating a meal.

Thank you for bringing this project to life!”

  • Keeping Our Students, Literate, Active and Engaged the Healthy Way!

    Funded Oct 22, 2021

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for supporting our kids and fully funding my "Keeping Our Students, Literate, Active and Engaged the Healthy Way!" project request!

You have no idea how much you have impacted the lives of our students, especially our autistic population. The cooking books and math and science experiments were very popular with the fourth and fifth-grade students especially. They were able to eat most of their experiments and they were inspired and taught to have fun with food and cooking while they learn and in a safe way. Thank you!”

  • Supplies, Soaps & Books Needed!

    Funded Dec 3, 2021

Thank you so very much for choosing and donating to my "Supplies, Soaps & Books Needed!" project request! My students absolutely loved the books and school supplies they were given. The Dial soaps ran out pretty quickly and the kids were happy to have a bottle of their own and not have to share. Thank you for choosing this project and making an impact on so many of my students' lives. They were able to stay sanitized, get much-needed supplies and read new literature. The books were inspirational and sparked their love for reading even further. Thank you!”

  • Uniforms for Our Smaller Students Desperately Needed!

    Funded May 3, 2022

Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for fully funding my "Uniforms for Our Smaller Students Desperately Needed!" project request. Because of your commitment to public schools, my students in the lower grades that were in need were able to receive much-needed uniforms that fit! Every year, we try to accommodate the needs of our students whose families are social-economically challenged and without your support, none of this may have been possible. The expressions on their little faces when they were given these uniforms were priceless. Thank you for making such a great impact and difference in our students' lives.”

A great number of my students are ELL/ESOL who were displaced during the earthquake in Haiti and relocated to South Florida several years ago. More than half of my students have no access to basic commodities in their households, including school supplies and uniforms. Almost everyday, I have to try to accommodate a child who came to school out of uniform because they just migrated from an impoverished or devastated island or their parents cannot afford to purchase what is needed for school. Unfortunately, due to limited funding, I am running out of ways to provide uniforms and am seeking your donations so that I can have thirty-six shorts, uniform overalls, skirts and polo shirts to assist students in need of uniforms.
