  • Help Our Pre-K and Kindergarteners Grow Socially and Emotionally!

    Funded Mar 2, 2022

Growing socially and emotional while using kid friendly resources is what your donations contributed to our school. Students we are able to have sessions tied to something tangible, which brought excitement or comfort. Social development in early childhood is a critical aspect of a child's growth and well-being. It lays the foundation for future success in life and helps children build strong relationships, communicate effectively, and navigate the social world around them.

We are truly grateful to those who considered my project, it brought joy and new resources for our Student Services Department.”

  • Hygiene Is Key!

    Funded Sep 26, 2022

Hygiene products is a resource that could be overlooked, but greatly needed. With the help of all the donors, I have stocked personal hygiene products to distribute to children who are in need of these essentials.

Many students do not expect our staff to have those products available in times of emergencies, but it's such a privilege to have personal hygiene packs ready to go when needed. Our staff are fully aware of where they are stored and we a grateful to be a helping hand.

    Thank you for your contribution,”

  • Give Us an Apple for Mental Wellness!

    Funded May 4, 2022

Infusing technology during counseling sessions brings innovation towards Mental Wellness when needed. Technology is important in designing and delivering comprehensive school counseling activities at our school.

Thanks to your support, students are able to experience digital stories towards core values, life lessons, and digital art which actually helps with assisting with pushing our imitative for using less paper. We are able to share Cloud9 World Social Emotional Program along with Quaver which promotes and provide a year worth of activities to use while using our device.

Our students enjoy the quit sessions, but they are always excited when interacting with technology. Once again, thank you for your generosity.”

A great number of my students are ELL/ESOL who were displaced during the earthquake in Haiti and relocated to South Florida several years ago. More than half of my students have no access to basic commodities in their households, including school supplies and uniforms. Almost everyday, I have to try to accommodate a child who came to school out of uniform because they just migrated from an impoverished or devastated island or their parents cannot afford to purchase what is needed for school. Unfortunately, due to limited funding, I am running out of ways to provide uniforms and am seeking your donations so that I can have thirty-six shorts, uniform overalls, skirts and polo shirts to assist students in need of uniforms.
