Patriots Point!
Funded Jan 23, 2018To have true Americans like yourself to help fulfill the ours of our cadets go beyond words. Most of the men and women whom attended this project had never had an opportunity to leave the rural area in which we live. With the diversity of our students being able to come together as one, build lasting relationships and memories goes beyond the hours spent together. Hearing 14-18 year olds make statements as "i feel like a little kid again" or "this is the best thing I have ever experience" truly bring great joy to our hearts. Some kids even stating "man, just to sit down and have dinner together at a table as a family" really gets the best of you and most importantly without this trip would not have taken place. Knowing how much time and effort it takes our students came back and share their experience with other young men and women around them leaving a last legacy of how life can be with effort, energy and hard work. As for how did this project impact our classroom we have a record number of cadets receive the JROTC Good Conduct Ribbon and a record number of cadets who have decided to attend college or join the military. As we continue to build and motivate young men and women to become better citizens we like to say THANK YOU!!”
With gratitude,
Mr. Jones
