In my class, there are students who have special needs and disabilities. Because of the physical challenges they face, we have to find ways to accommodate each child. Issues that relate to motor skills require that these students use touch screen computers as they cannot manipulate a mouse or type on a keyboard. We were just recently able to assess each child's individual needs and the one underlying factor was the need for them to use a touchscreen device to learn on a computer. We are requesting one "All-in-One" computer that is portable and can move with the children as they move up in grade levels. Your support for this project would ensure that our special needs kindergarteners are learning in an inclusive environment and have equal access to technology as their peers.
