My elementary music students receive a class period of instruction each week. During this time, we play games, sing songs, and have fun all while learning about music. I would love to use classroom instruments, designed with elementary students in mind, as a way to inspire students to get involved in music. It is such a joy to teach and encourage these kids to try new things, play solos, and experience new things as they step outside of their comfort zones and build confidence. It's great to see the face of a child who just "did it" for the first time.
