My project consists of classic children's literature in Spanish. Books such as "Green Eggs and Ham" and "Amelia Bedelia" will allow the students to read books that their peers are reading. The English Language Learners in my class would love to have more books in their native language. By having these books in our classroom libraries, students will have the opportunity to read classic texts thus supporting their ability to engage in classroom discussions with their peers. Additionally, a classroom library that consists of books in both English and other languages will help the students to be able to improve their acquisition of English.
