Comfortable Seating in K!
Funded Aug 25, 2023Thank you for providing my students with new wobble seats. We spend the majority of the day at my small group table. The students have been more focused because they are able to wiggle in the chairs. Before your donation, we were using regular chairs and the students would try to lean back in them and became easily restless sitting so still. You have helped us so much by providing these. Each day, the students become more excited to learn at my small group table. They love sitting in these chairs!
Again, thank you very much!”

Funded Sep 10, 2018Thank you so much for our new books. my students have really enjoyed exploring these new texts as we are learning the parts of sentences. They love to look at the words and work with one another during partner reading to learn new words. The class also loves to take turn picking the books for me to read. They never get tired of Pete the Cat. One student shouted out how excited they were to read after we finished math yesterday, This truly means so much to me. Last year we did not have enough books for all of my students and now we do thanks to you.
Thanks again,
Mr.Sworn and students!”

Creating in K
Funded Mar 27, 2018Thank you very much for the new additions to my classroom. My students have already began to use the new Google Chromebooks this school year. These Chromebooks allow my students to access learning software that is provide by our school district to give student extra help in both math and English language arts.
The students have loved getting to have computer time outside of scheduled computer lab days. They are able to go over to the computers and log in by themselves when we have free time in class. It also makes it easier for us to complete our online assessments in class.
I have a few students that love the computers very much. These students have been given the job of computer helpers to make sure our new Chromebooks are well taken care off. These are my students that do not have access to computers outside of the classroom. Again, thank you very much and we greatly appreciate it.”
With gratitude,
Mr. Sworn
