Help support Mr. Orlando's Classroom

Having the set of tablets, Wonder Workshop Packs, 3 in 1 Robot, tablets Parrot AR.Drone 2.0 Elite Quadricopter, Elenco Snap Circuits Deluxe Snap Rover Kit, and 500-in-1 Electronic Project Lab will allow for different structures of learning in my classroom. There will be several centers for each resource so that the students will learn how to code, create and design. The Electronic Project lab will teach them other aspects of coding. The students will learn about drones, Quadricopter, and Snap Circuits Rover Kits. By going through the process of building a robot in the classroom, students explore many different learning pathways. It’s amazing to watch students’ passions grow in subjects that they never knew they would love. Some of my students have cultivated an interest in 3D printing and coding. The students will take pictures with the tablets of the students putting together the robots as documentation while other students complete observations using pencil and paper with constructive feedback in their journals. They will collaborate on group findings by sharing during stop and talk. The students could also use the tablets for math practice skills in the math center which would allow activities for both my highest performing and most struggling students. My project will make a difference because my students love science and math. I am a new teacher and my classroom has nothing. There is no technology, nor resources available to begin any type of creative process. I really need your help in making my classroom STEM friendly where our future scientist and mathematicians are creative and innovative preparing future success in all academics.
