  • Listen, Learn and Laugh

    Thank you so much for your donation. My listening center was a great success. The children were so excited about the center. I had been telling them about it for while, so when the materials came in they were eager to use it.

    We used it during Guided Reading. Four to six students sat at a time to listen to a book being read. The students liked the fact that they could set it up on their own. They took turns selecting and setting up the book and CD of the week. That independence made them more responsible and they took this task very seriously”

  • Protecting Our iPads!

    Thank you so much for funding my project. I am very grateful to be getting the protective cases for my Ipads. Now my students will feel more secure when using them and therefore will learn and enjoy a the same time. These cases will ensure the Ipads a longer life.”

  • Hurricane Harvey Relief - 2nd Grade Needs Apple Technology

    I want to thank you for your great contribution. I received 6 Ipads which I have set up as my Technology /Language center. All of my children rotate through that center throughout the week. These Ipads provide the opportunity for extra practice in Reading and Language.

    During our Guided Reading / Stations block, my students get the opportunity to work on Istaton, a language program on the Ipads.. They read o level passages and then answer the questions. This program is used campus wide to reinforce and assess language. Students are monitored to track their progress and receive interventions. With the Ipads in my classroom they are able to wok on Istation more frequently since otherwise would only have access to a computer once every six days.

    We feel humbly fortunate.”

  • Hurricane Harvey Relief, Technology For Literature & Language

    I want to thank you for your great contribution. I received a listening kit which is made up of a cd player and eight sets of headphones. This is so magnificent! With this listening kit I can have 8 students at a time listen to a book being read to them. Most of my students are English language learners and listening to a book being read is very beneficial. They have the opportunity to hear the correct pronunciation of the English language. This listening kit is excellent for my listening center which all my students visit several times a week. Thanks to your generosity, my students will be able to interact more successfully in the world.”

This is a project that needs to incorporate the technology piece in both Math and Science. I am asking for seven I-PADS; with them, I will be able to bring Math and Science to life. I will be able to create technology centers or stations that promote students’ learning. Exploring with technology and access to quick information is highly needed; in order, to keep up with today’s global world. This will allow my students to compete in today’s global work force and society. Students learn not just from the teacher or books; they also learn from technology. Technology is an extremely important tool that gives students power on every level. Everything around them has technology. Having these great pieces of equipment, will impact their learning on every level
