Materials That Last a Lifetime!
Funded Sep 5, 2021Thank you for your contributions towards my project! With the funding I will be able to provide my students with plenty of instructional activities as well as classroom decor that can be used this school year and beyond. The materials will not only be useful within my classroom but with the longevity coming from being laminated, my students will be able to take the materials home. They will feel comfortable knowing their school materials will last them until the end of the school year!”

Blue Diamonds Deserve to Shine!
Funded Nov 25, 2019I can't begin to express my gratitude towards your donations. Both my students and I want to thank you so much for your generosity. I can't begin to tell you what it means to my students to have access to team shirts! It allows them to be uniformed and have a sense of pride in what they are doing. They are kind, hard-working, highly intelligent kids who sometimes just need a little boost, and you are all part of that for them. They performed during the pep rally and looked well put together all while having fun! They are currently designing a logo to put on the back of the t-shirt with the team name and are having fun bonding over a team logo. They are truly appreciative of the resources you provided for them and can not express it enough. Again, thank you for your awesome contribution”

Funded Oct 30, 2019I can't begin to express my gratitude towards your donations. Both my students and I want to thank you so much for your generosity. I can't begin to tell you what it means to my students to have access to so many resources that they can benefit from in the classroom! They are sweet, hard-working, highly intelligent kids who sometimes just need a little boost, and you are all part of that for them. They have already started using some of the resources in class such as the giant timer to keep them accountable of their time during lessons so that they can pace themselves. They also love the caddies that spin! It gives them the opportunity to organize their belongings and I can provide them with materials such as pencils, pens, post its, that are easily accessible. They are truly appreciative of the resources you provided for them and can not express it enough. Again, thank you for your awesome contribution!”

Funded Jan 8, 2019The calculators are a huge success in my classroom! My students have been thriving upon their arrival and it would not have been made possible without your donations. Because math can sometimes become tedious, the use of these brand new calculators help make it more enjoyable and have become apart of our routine in my classroom.
It is a great feeling to know that each of my students will be able to use their own calculator that actually works! Technology is huge and learning how to use a calculator will be vital in their everyday lives. This skill will follow them throughout their educational career and will be relevant to their lives outside of school.
Once again, thank you for donating to my classroom and allowing my students to gain a class set of calculators, we truly appreciate your generosity.”

Funded Apr 24, 2018As a first year teacher, I believe a field trip is one of the best tools that we can use to provide every student with real-world experiences. This trip to Liberty Science Center allowed my students to make the connections between what is happening in the classroom and in the real-world. Because my students live in a low income community they are not able to access tools and engage in meaningful experiences within their environment.
This field trip made it possible to take students to see an underwater ecosystem at an aquarium, engage in a real life hurricane scenario, view a film in regards to space, see and touch a plethora of hands on activities, participate in a pitch dark touch tunnel where they had to use their senses to maneuver throughout the entire thing and among hundreds of other things.
Each experience solidifies learning and supports important academic concepts and students are able to access the content better when they can learn holistically. Many of them have mentioned that this was hands down their favorite field trip and they are extremely grateful for being given the opportunity to go!”
