So often students say they "hate to read." This is so sad because reading is the number one way students can work towards succeeding in school and in life. Additionally, absolutely all students would love to read if it was a topic they were interested in! Therefore I would like to expand on my magazine collection to entice students in interesting topics in manageable pieces. In this way, students can grab a magazine on their way to lunch, or if they finish their work early and realize how fun, easy, and interesting reading can be. Once students realize reading is fun, it completely changes the game.
