Students will use a tennis racket and ball to learn this skilled game of baseball. These mitts and bases will allow them to learn a skill they may want to continue in high school. Most haven't had the opportunity to play on a team. By the end of this unit, they can go to a local baseball game and relate to the game. The last week of school, we will have a baseball day that will include hot dogs, cotton candy, and a competitive game. We will make baseball visors with team logos. Thank you in advance for making this a special time for the students.
