  • Color Our World!

    Funded Oct 7, 2019

My students and I are so grateful for everyone's generous donations to our project! We are so thankful to receive black and color ink for our LaserJet printer! The children couldn't wait to see what was in the box when it was delivered to our room! It arrived just in time, too, as we were about to run out of some of our ink cartridges.

Since receiving our ink, I have been able to create high quality, learning aids and activities in color for my visual learners that will last for several years. The students are excited to use these resources because to them, they look more fun! This helps to keep them engaged, and therefore, they are better able to understand the concepts being taught! My students and I are so blessed to have you support our classroom!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Reese

  • Let's Start the Year Healthy and Germ Free!

    Funded Sep 10, 2019

Thank you so much for donating to our classroom project! My students and I are so thankful for your generosity. The students were so excited to see the huge box delivered to our room! They enjoyed going through it and discovering all of the supplies we received.

These supplies have come at a just the right time! The stomach bug and the flu have been going around the school, and many of our students have been absent. The Lysol spray and Clorox wipes have allowed us to disinfect the room and kill the existing germs. The tissues and hand sanitizer have allowed the students to decrease the further spreading of germs to their peers.

Hopefully, we have been able to decrease the number of school days students could have potentially missed. By being present at school, they are able to make the most of their educational opportunities!

Again, thank you so much for your contribution to our project. We are so blessed to have people like you support our class!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Reese

  • We Need Our Privacy!

    Funded Aug 14, 2019

Thank you so much for your generous donations to our project, We Need Our Privacy! The students were so excited to see all the boxes, and they couldn't wait to see what was inside!

The testing shields have been so helpful. They have allowed for privacy while students test at a small group table. The computer testing shields have made it possible for students to focus their attention just on their monitors and not worry about what the student sitting next to them is doing. The storage rack allows us to keep the testing shields neatly put away in one location.

Again, my students and I are blessed to have your support!”

  • We Can Wiggle Our Wobbles!

    Funded Jul 20, 2019

Thank you so much for your generous donations to our classroom project! We are so grateful for your kindness and support! The students were so excited to see three huge boxes in the room when they came back from summer break - they couldn't wait to see what was in them! After we opened them, everyone wanted to sit on a wobble chair!

The wobble chairs have given my active students the option to wiggle while they work. As an alternative to traditional student chairs, they safely allow for a little movement while students sit, without tipping over! Now that all of my students are comfortable in their seat, it's easier for them to pay attention and actively participate!

We are so thankful to have people like you care about our class!”

  • Watch My Vocabulary Grow!

    Funded May 8, 2019

Thank you so much for your generous donations to our project, Watch My Vocabulary Grow! The students were so excited to see the box full of vocabulary activities! They couldn't wait to start using them!

The Vocabulary Match-Ups, Practice Cards, and Can Do game are perfect for our reading center rotations. These activities are a fun alternative to worksheets as a way for our students to practice and build their vocabulary. My small guided reading group especially looks forward to using the Vocabulary Journals each day! They ask "are we going to get our journals out?" because they love creating their own sentences using their vocabulary words and illustrating pictures to go along with them.

We are blessed to have people like you support our class!”

  • Ready to Regroup!

    Funded May 13, 2019

My students and I are so thankful for your generous donations to our project, Ready to Regroup! The kids were so eager to use these regrouping kits after we unpacked them!

I am so excited to have these resources to start the school year. We have already started teaching regrouping in addition and subtraction. The magnetic regrouping chart allows me to model the regrouping process step by step for my class. The hands-on kits give my students the opportunity to visualize and manipulate the regrouping process during independent practice. These materials will help make the process less confusing and easier for them to understand.

Again, we thank you so much for your kindness and support!”

  • We Need the Write Stuff!

    Funded May 9, 2019

My students and I are so blessed by your generous donations to our project, We Need the Write Stuff! The kids couldn't wait to see what was in all the boxes!

The writing strategies book helps me give students step-by-step strategies for writing. The chart paper and markers allow us to brainstorm ideas and model the writing process in small groups. The students keep their writing and handouts organized and in a safe space with the sheet protectors and folders. The quality pencils and erasers make it easier for the students to completely eraser their mistakes, which results in a neater product. I can't wait to see my students become more proficient and creative writers this year!

We are so thankful to have people like you support and care about our class!”

  • Restock the Basics!

    Funded Apr 7, 2019

My students and I are so grateful for your generous donations to our project, Restock the Basics! The kids were so excited when the packages arrived to our classroom. They couldn't wait to see what we got!

We love everything that we received, the table top easel pad, writing strategies book, and folders. The table top easel pad is so useful during small group instruction. We use it during reading, writing, and math. Since it is a giant Post-It, we are able to hang our thinking maps and anchor charts on the wall afterwards so the students can reference them later.

I must say, the things we were most excited to get were the pencils, erasers, and pencil sharpener. Oh my goodness, the pencil sharpener! It is wonderful! It gives us perfectly sharpened pencils every time! We no longer have to worry about our pencils being eaten by the sharpener or having the lead fall out five seconds after sharpening!

Again, thank you for generosity. We are truly blessed to have people like you support our class!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Reese

  • Help Us Be Germ Free!

    Funded Mar 11, 2019

Thank you so much for your donation to our classroom! Words cannot express how thankful my students and I are for your kindness and generosity. The kids were so excited to see the boxes delivered to our room! They enjoyed going through them and discovering all of the supplies we received.

These supplies came just in time for allergy season. The dusters helped us get rid of dust and pollen (if we had the windows open) on our furniture that can potentially cause difficulty breathing. The electronics cleaning supplies have helped us keep our computers and tablets free of dust and germs. While the Clorox wipes allowed us to disinfect the room and kill the existing germs.

Since we have been able to reduce the spread of germs and get rid of the dust and pollen, we have been able to keep our students healthier! Therefore, we have hopefully been able to decrease the number of school days they could have possibly missed. By being present, they have been able to make the most of their educational opportunities.

Again, thank you so much for supporting our classroom project!”

  • A Printer for Visual Learners!

    Funded Apr 20, 2019

I cannot tell you how grateful my students and I are to everyone who generously donated to this project! We are so thankful to have received our new HP color LaserJet printer and ink! The children were in awe when the huge box was delivered to the classroom! It arrived just in time, too, as our old printer was on its last leg.

Since receiving our new printer, I have been able to create high quality, differentiated activities in color for my visual learners that will last for several years. My students are excited to use these resources because to them, they look more fun! This keeps them engaged, and therefore, they are better able to understand the concepts being taught! Again, thank you so much for your generosity and support!”
