Funded Apr 1, 2022Thank you so much for donating to our classroom. The items purchased with your donation have allowed our students to explore and create new experiences in our classroom.
With the new equipment purchased students have been able to further develop their understanding and push their current projects further.
One item our students have really benefitted from has been our Samsung Flip display. This has allowed students to interact with their work and create dynamic presentations. This new ability to create detailed presentations has created improved student engagement and participation.”

This classroom project was brought to life by Samsung Electronics America, Inc..Can You Hear Me Now?
Funded Mar 19, 2019Thank you for the generous donations you made to my classroom! The equipment purchased through this grant had a much larger impact on my classroom than originally imagined. Out initial purpose of this mixer was to provide our Livestream commentators more control in the production of their broadcast, however once students saw it in our kit they dreamed up new ideas.
I was really surprised at the number of students that came forward looking to explore recording their original music and sound effects. Before this came in to our room, most have never shown any sign that they even had any musical ability. Your donation provided my students with the opportunity to discover their passions, which is what my class is all about.
Because of this donation student have not only achieved our original goal, but discovered more opportunities to express themselves and take ownership over thier learning. As we move forward we are looking to build on these opportunities with increased training events, the purchase of professional audio production software, and more equipment, such as microphones and midi keyboards. So from the bottom of my heart thank you for the opportunities you have provided my students!”

Cross County Live Stream Team!
Funded Mar 27, 2018Thank you for your generous contribution to my classroom! Over the past year we have created our own livestream broadcasting program to provide our community with access to all of our schools events. We wanted to provide those in our community who are shut in or unable to attend their students assemblies.
This Donors Choose project provided funding to purchase Livestream Broadcaster units for our cameras to transmit video back to our computer. With this unit we can place our camera closer to the action and bring in multiple camera angles to our viewers to create a more professionally experience.
We are excited by our new capabilities and we have already heard positive feedback from our audience in the quality of our broadcast. If you would like to catch a broadcast you can catch us on most Friday nights at this channel or you can check out some of our previously recorded events.

Funded May 22, 2018Thank you for your generous contribution to my classroom! Over the past year my students have created their own livestream broadcasting program to provide our community with access to all of our schools events. We wanted to provide those in our community who are shut in or unable to attend their students assemblies.
This Donors Choose project provided funding to purchase broadcasting headsets for our commentators. Previously we used lapel microphones that left their work unheard and drown out by the crowd. We were able to use them in our first event of the year this past week and our results were night and day different from what we used to do.
Our students are excited by their new capabilities and we have already heard positive feedback from our audience in the sound quality of our broadcast.
