  • Colorful Individual Learning

    Thank you for supporting my third graders! They were so excited when they saw our bright colorful desks! They wanted to sit at them right away.

    We have set up three different learning stations with our bright colorful desks! We use one for a charging station, one for crafts, and one where students can read together. These desks have made a wonderful opportunity for students to work together or work alone if they choose.

  • Third Graders Take on Technology!

    Thank you from the bottom of my heart for donating Chrome Books to my class! The students can get on Sumdog, which is a math program that they love to play. It involves games that not only teach math but also help them build friendships. With the help of these Chrome Books, students can participate in contests. Last year, my students came in third in a national contest thanks to the use of these Chrome Books!

    These Chrome Books catch the eyes of my third graders. They are always asking to get on them to play Sumdog or get on Brainpop. They love the compact style where they can move to their desk or my rug to work.

    I have several students who look forward to their Chrome Book time. Students who might not want to work on their math are willing to work on it if they can use a Chrome Book. These Chrome Books have truly impacted my class!”

Having a set of Chromebooks will provide more learning opportunities for my students. Students will be able to research topics and create PowerPoints while working cooperatively in small groups. This is a lifelong skill they will use. There is so much learning that takes place on the computer with some amazing websites for education. Our school just purchased Education Galaxy for our students where they work on different skills using a computer. We also use a program called Sumdog which works on different math skills for the students. With Chromebooks, students can also research topics and create powerpoints.

About my class
