Technology is a requirement in this day and age, so having a printer will allow students to print things from their Chromebooks. My students are Multilingual Learners (ML) who are building proficiency in reading, writing, listening, and speaking. This printer will also assist with practice for the ACCESS test that is a yearly test that is required for ML that measures their English language proficiency. Having this printer will hopefully help more students increase their language proficiency and/or exit the English Language Development (ELD) program.
