My project is to get books that students can read when I work with them individually, in small groups, or by teaching classroom lessons. Although many books cover a variety of topics, it is preferable to have books that are situation specific. Your donations to our school will allow me to more precisely teach each skill. In the past, I have counseled students who have lost a parent, grandparent or sibling. The book The Invisible String will be a valuable asset in times like these. The invisible string refers to the tug you feel in your heart when you think about a loved one who has passed. This book is effective at helping young children think differently about their loss. This book is included on my list. This is one of many books that helps offer a situation specific resource. One can only imagine the variety of situations that I see on a daily basis. The expanded set of books will be a welcome addition. Your donations to our school will be greatly appreciated and well used!
