This classroom project was brought to life by DICK'S Sporting Goods Foundation - Sports Matter and 12 other donors.

When I started coaching here on the Northside of Houston we had three softballs to share for the whole team of nearly 30 girls aged 11-14, I had to be very creative those frist practices. With the demographic of our school, most of the girls on our team also could not afford to purchase softballs, mitts, bats, cleats, helmets, and the other items needed to play. So, I invested, buying items ranging from uniforms, balls, helmets, and so on. I would like to continue build interests in athletics, and positive after school activities. Help me grow our program and our students in ways they would otherwise not have the opportunity to.
