  • Drawing With Dash

    Funded Apr 16, 2020

Thank you so much for helping to find my project! It means so much to my students and I that there are such generous and kind people helping us. I can’t wait to see my students reactions when they open the boxes! They will be so excited to use our supplies to make our dash robots draw! Thank you so much for your kindness and generosity.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Caruso

  • Building with Brain Flakes and Gears

    Funded May 3, 2019

I cannot begin to describe the excitement on my students faces when I showed them the Brain Flakes and Gears. They couldn't wait to get started on building with these sets. Their imagination went wild, making trees, flowers, snowflakes, an island, an octopus, cars, and much, much more. The gears are amazing and to watch them problem solve how to make each gear spin with one turn is beautiful. I can see the "gears" turning in their minds as they work together.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart and my students for these wonderful sets. Caring and generous people like you make a tremendous difference in my students world.”

  • STEM Books for STEM Students

    Funded Dec 20, 2018

Thank you for donating to my project and for supporting my classes. My girls STEAM club were super excited to open the boxes and look at our new books. They love STEAM, and to read about what they can do in this field was great for them. They enjoyed looking through the books at all the different innovations and inventions. They are inspired by these and it is all because of your generosity and kindness.

It is people like you who make a difference in the world and in this case my students world. They love STEAM and reading and you have managed to give them a little of both by donating to my project. Thank you from both myself and my students.”

  • STEM Innovators Need Filament Spools

    Funded Dec 22, 2018

Thank you for donating to my project. When the box arrived my STEM students and I were so excited. Seeing all of the different color filament spools really got their imagination flowing. They started coming up with ideas of different things they wanted to create on the 3D printer. From brushes to headbands, and cellphones to sunglasses, they wanted to make it all. Right now we are learning how to make their imaginations and their projects come to life.

Thank you for making this possible for my students.”

  • Make Us ZOOB BuilderZ

    Funded Oct 30, 2018

Thank you so much for the ZooB BuilderZ building sets. When we first opened the boxes my students were over the top excited. I showed them the ZooB Building blocks and how they work. They wanted to play with them immediately. They were eager to explore these new blocks and create an endless amount of things.

As per their request, we started using them immediately and their imagination went wild. They were making robots, princess crowns, sunglasses and much more. They can't wait to come back to my class to see what we are going to try to make next.

What's next in our class, we will start using the STEM challenge ZooB BuilderZ so the students can challenge themselves to make new and exciting creations. I can't wait to see how well they do! Thank You for donating to my class and for making engineering come to life! It is greatly appreciated.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Caruso

  • An iPro for STEAM Pros

    Funded Mar 27, 2018

I would like to thank you for fully funding my project. I have been able to do so many things with my IPad pro. It has enhanced my teaching and the learning that has been happening in my classroom since I received it. The large screen has been helpful in small groups, and the touch screen enables the students to navigate pictures and text much easier than using a mouse.

The most exciting part for the students is when I hook it up to the smartboard, they see the app that they are using up there and can follow along easier than me holding up a small IPad. The students in the back are able to see better and participate in a more meaningful way.

Thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to better my teaching and the learning that goes on in my classroom.”

  • Building Brain STEMs for Kinders, Part 2

    Funded Mar 27, 2018

First and foremost thank you for donating to my classroom. Your generosity is greatly appreciated. My students were so excited to see all of the windows and doors they received for their building block sets. Their imagination went wild when I first handed them out to them. They were making hover boards, elevators, hotels, motorcycles - the list is endless.

When I heard one student in a 1st grade self contained class tell a para, "look at this elevator I made. It has big windows so the people can see when they go up and down," I knew there was so much more than playing with building blocks happening in my classroom. They are socializing, engineering, designing, using problem solving skills and speaking to each other in the most meaningful way.

The impact you made on my students by purchasing these supplies for my classroom is incredible. Thank you for your generosity. You have really went above and beyond for my students and we really appreciate you.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Caruso

  • Building Brain STEMs for Kinders

    Funded Jan 29, 2018

First I would like to greatly thank you for your generous donation to my project. When the students in my class first saw all of the building blocks we received their faces lit up and they had smiles from ear to ear. They were able to free play using these blocks and their imagination ran wild. They built planes, trains, buildings, dinosaurs, and much much more.

One student in a bilingual classroom came up to me and said, "Look Mrs. Caruso, I made an excavator." For a student who is an English Language Learner to use such a big word, instead of truck, shows that this is more than just playing. They are learning, socializing and talking to each other in a meaningful way.

The impact you made on my students by purchasing these supplies for my classroom is tremendous. Your generosity has reached my students and benefited them in ways I can't explain. Thank you again.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Caruso

When my kindergarten students walk into my classroom, I don't see 5 year olds, I see scientists, inventors, and engineers. They are brimming with enthusiasm, energy, and ideas; however, they lack the English language skills to express those thoughts in words. What they need, more than anything, are appropriate tools to build concrete examples that represent their innermost thoughts and feelings. These colorful interlocking bricks and STEM building sets will give them exactly what they need to start making sense of their developing ideas. Furthermore, what they create with these engineering tools will provide them with actual inventions that can become the central focus of discussions that will further their understanding of the world, the English language, and their ability to express these thoughts to others.
