The current audio equipment in my music classroom is very old and out-of-date. We need a new speaker with a microphone for better amplification of audio recordings and to allow me to amplify my voice with causing vocal harm. My campus is celebrating its 25th anniversary this school year. Most of my teaching materials have no been updated or replaced since that first year. Our current classroom sound system consists of a boombox with a tape deck and a CD player. The setup does not contain a working auxiliary input for mp3 capabilities or a working microphone input. Those two aspects are vital to bringing the audio aspect of my classroom into the 21st century.
