My students need fine motor tools to help them be successful at the beginning of their educational career. These tools will help prepare them for drawing, writing, reading, and math and critical thinking. In the early stages of education, it is very important for young children to develop their Fine Motor Skills. In Kindergarten, it may seem small, but they build up small muscles in their hands, fingers, and arms to be able to hold a pencil, crayons and scissors properly. With the development of these skills, a student will be able to draw beautiful pictures with crayons, be able to hold and control a pencil to write their name and to cut out a piece of paper to create art projects. This will also help with other developmentally appropriate activities of social skills such as eating, hygiene, and dressing themselves.
