My students currently have small rectangular tables for writing. The small tables do not allow space for my little ones’ to place all of their writing tools in their working area. Often, writing tools are placed on the floor or a wood shelf nearby. The larger writing tables also make room for personal body space. Creativity in a kindergarten classroom can be messy. Space for crayons, pencils, markers, paper (small and large), books, and props will be great! The calm chairs will serve as additional seating for those who need that flexibility to help get their thoughts and ideas flowing. I have a few students who would benefit from the soft, calming chair as it helps them stay focused and ready to write!
