Ease Firsties Mind
Funded Dec 22, 2023Words on it's own cannot express our gratitude and kindness you have given us funding our small project. Helping us fund an easel has made a world of a difference in my first grade classroom. Students come in the morning eager to learn and engage with the lesson by writing, drawing, and participating along with their peers. My school has a high ELL demographic and learning a second language can be difficult for some students. However, using this easel gives them confidence of trying to express their thoughts by drawing or writing what they have learned in class. It has helped many of my students with low self-esteem be able to participate and engage with their classmates and I am grateful for that. My students are in love with our easel and can't wait what else we can do with it. A very big thank you from the bottom of our hearts!”

Blocking Out the Noise!
Funded Jun 4, 2018Our class and I are eternally grateful and excited to have you donate to our project. It has been difficult and overwhelming before receiving our headphones. Students would be constantly interrupted from the noise coming through other students' computers. After receiving the headphones, our class is more at peace and students are more focused and excited to do their computer assignments without interruptions. Especially, nowadays we have to teach our students to be global citizens of the 21st century by incorporating technology in all our lessons and learning. Technology is very important especially in a day and age where it is relied upon almost everyday.
Furthermore, our students love the headphones because they can focus on completing their lessons without hearing other noise from a neighboring computer or somewhere in the classroom. I also see that students are progressing better in their computer assignments like I-Ready or Reflex Math. My students will be forever grateful for these items and knowing that there are people who care about them and their learning. These students cherish simple everyday items that most of us take for granted.
In addition, my students are motivated to go to the computers to use the headphones because they are not only comfy they cancel almost all noise from the classroom. Most students dislike being interrupted in a middle of something they are focused on, especially my little ones. Your donation will go a long way in making sure that all my students have the basic necessities to learn and giving them one less thing to worry about.”
