  • Live Animals

    Funded Dec 14, 2024

I would like to thank you so much for the wonderful donation to my classroom. The children love the fish and the Frog so much they were able to feed them every day and take care of them they made sure that they were always clean and safe in our classroom. They have learned much about the life cycle of animals and these fish and frogs in the classroom are helping them to learn even more.

The students also were able to observe the animals daily and take notes about what they needed to survive.

    Thanks again”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Isaakidis

  • Basic Supplies

    Funded Mar 15, 2024

I am so grateful for your support with the supplies I received for my classroom. The students were so happy to get new supplies. They couldn't wait to use them. They made beautiful art projects with the crayons and markers. Those students that did not have pencils were able to get their very own boxes to keep.

My students all have their very own dry erase boards that they can use to answer questions in the meeting area. This has been such a great help.

I very much appreciate your help. It was very thoughtful of you. You were so helpful.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Isaakidis

  • Table Time

    Funded Oct 30, 2023

I am so happy to have received this table. My students and I can now sit together around the table and work. My students can also use the table during small group time. They sit around and discuss the lesson or they can get together and finish up projects they may have. They really like taking a part at the conference table. As a teacher I love being able to meet with my small groups here and being able to work closely with my students supporting them in individual ways.

Again I thank you so much for your generosity and your support.”

  • Summer Snacks

    Funded Aug 31, 2023

My students were so happy to receive these snacks. During snack time now they are able to grab a snack if they do not have one. They love the yummy chips and cookies. The ability to have extra water bottles to give them when they forget their water at home is priceless. We take for granted how important water is especially after they play gym. It has really made them all so happy. The children and their parents all send their appreciation to you. Thank you again for your generosity. I appreciate your kindness.”

  • Animals in the Classroom

    Funded Aug 31, 2023

Our students were so excited to receive the live fish and tadpoles in our classroom. We have learned about the life cycle of fish. Now we will learn about tadpoles as well.

The students really enjoy feeding them daily. They have named them Cookie, Goldie and Sasha. The tadpole s have already grown a bit ad now they can be visible.

Again, thank you so much for giving the children this opportunity to not only learn about the animals but also learn about responsibility, compassion and empathy. Have a great year!”

    Mrs. Isaakidis

  • Sensory Play

    Funded Aug 31, 2023

First of all I want to say a great big Thank You!

I am so happy to have received the supplies for my students. They are already using their new sand table, play doh and sensory toys. They use them to talk about their feelings and things they do that makes them feel better. They love spending time relaxing in the sensory table. They feel safe and calm in this space. They use the sand to draw letters also. This helps them learn their abc. This is a very nice gesture on your behalf. Thank you for your generosity”

First of all I would like to say a big Thank You!

I am so happy to have received the supplies for my students. They are already working hard using their new supplies to write about their feelings and things they do that makes them feel better. The students will also use their new journals, pens, markers and paper to read to one another about what they wrote, giving each other feedback about what they should fix in their writing. This is a very nice gesture on your behalf. Thank you for your generosity”

My students are from various ESL backgrounds and their families are lower income families. Most of the time they do not have experiences outside of their immediate neighborhood because their parents work all day long. Many do not even get to see their parents until late at night.
