Mrs. L's Magic Carpet

The carpet had an immediate impact on my students! They came into the classroom that morning and saw they new carpet. They were excited and happy! They wanted to get onto it as soon as they possibly could. We started morning meeting and they all got to sit in a circle along the edge. The first thing they noticed was how plush the carpet is. They kept running their fingers through it. During Reading time they each got to find a square and sit in it. They all loved having their own space. During our choice time all my students wanted to be on the carpet laying down. It has made such an impact in our classroom! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!”

This classroom project was brought to life by 3M and 9 other donors.

This carpet will help my student's be able to focus on their learning. The carpet will provide each student with their own space while on the floor. My student's will be able to stay more engaged while working in a large group. My student's will be able to feel successful while sitting on the floor knowing that they have a special place just for them! This carpet will bring our classroom to life! The large size and colors will make our whole group learning space welcoming and inviting. It will help make my student's better learners and achievers. Thank you for considering this project!
