Blasting off into Space
Funded Dec 10, 2022Thank you for funding "Blasting Into Space". With your donation, my students and I were able to get a couple of space related toys like a rocket, a rover, and a few magnetic ticks. The toys are a wonderful addition to our dramatic play area.
The students were so elated as we opened the boxes. They wanted to know how and where I obtain these toys. They were so happy that our project was fully funded! The students played with the rocket and the rover. A couple of students used the magnetic ticks to make/create pictures. The students were focused as they moved the individual tack to make the picture.
Again, thank you for funding our "Blasting Into Space" project.”

Funded Dec 6, 2022Thank you so very much for our new STEAM related toys. The students are using the magna tiles and marble run to creative and collaborate with each other. They are working together to figure out what to make out of the magna tiles. The students are also working together to put the marble run. They have to test to see if their design works for the marble to run through their created structure. The students are learning to plan, design, build, test their work.
The students were so excited to see all the new materials/educational toys in our math center. "WOW!!!" "How did you get all these toys?" were some of their comments and questions. You should have seen many of their faces. They were all smiles and grins.
They were so excited to play with the magna tiles and marble run. Thank you for giving my students these wonderful materials to work with.”

Funded Dec 7, 2017The children were excited to see the box that was delivered to our classroom. They wanted to know what was inside it! When the box was opened, they were happy to see the leveled books. They got a chance to browse through the leveled non fiction books. Many of the children were amazed at how they were able to read some of the words.
Having these leveled books will help students be able to read books at their level. I will use these books to introduce sight words and print concept. The level A books will also help the students with fluency and will give them confidence in their reading.
The students in my room love to read!!! They are always excited to share what words they can read. The students use these books during independent reading time.”
