The Chromebooks I am requesting for my students will aide them in grasping the English language. In the technological world we live in, my students are at a disadvantage by the lack of it at my school. Many programs have been developed in order to help English Language Learners on their journey of acquiring our English language. My students will be able to gain a better educational experience once they attain the required English language skills to be able to be apart of the different level of English speaking classes. For example, College Preparatory and Honors level courses. English as Second Language students need this technological help in order to get them to the correct level courses in school that will give them the greatest chance of success out of schools.. However they are not being afforded an opportunity in the ESL and bilingual classrooms to demonstrate this since there is not different levels of courses. Hopefully with the help of generous donors my students will be able to test out of the bilingual program and be able to challenge themselves with the more advanced classes they will have an option of now being apart of. Hopefully with the help of donors my students will be afford an opportunity to better challenge themselves and be prepared for a chance to go to a higher education facility and be successful American professionals.
