  It is always a joy to watch the scholars indulge in the day to day necessities we take for granted helping supply them with snacks and food throughout the year truly makes a huge impact. Can you imagine sitting in a 2-3 hour meeting at work without having had your morning coffee? Or breakfast? This is sadly the reality for many children who rely on school for their main meals throughout the day. As they grow it is our goal to support their needs. Without your support we couldn't make this possible year after year - so thank you!”

• Help Spread Diversity, Equality, and Inclusion in Our School

  What a beautiful project to be funded creating a space for scholars to see themselves, feel heard, and have a chance to express their thoughts! The literature provided has often been selected by scholars in the library to explore topics like depression, anxiety, diversity, and so much more!

  It is a joy to see learning through reading and more importantly the access being there for them. Our scholars sense of belonging has surely risen as seen on various social emotional surveys. Scholars interpersonal relationships have also improved!”

• Our Students Need Support For Their Trip to South Korea!

  Our Scholars are extremely grateful for this generous donation. They were extremely gracious and humbled to hear about it! It is with so much warmth I personally thank you! We have been granted a wonderful opportunity to take our scholars to South Korea as they have engaged in the language program at SBAAM and a part of honoring and celebrating the South Korean culture comes with being immersed within it!

• Help Provide My Scholars With SEL Books!

  The books you have helped supply have been utilized so frequently this year! We are so lucky to have been able to add them in our libraries. The books are all from a childs perspective, helping them feel seen and heard. I love watching a scholar be able to identify anxiety, optimism, depression, or equality through literature. The narratives take them through a journey that is relatable to them! Several staff have asked to borrow from our SEL library to enhance the learning happening in the classroom. • Help My Students Have Health and Wellness Supplies!

  Within our community, in the South Bronx, we make many efforts to help support our kids. They lack many of the necessities we take for granted and honoring health is extremely important for them! We have dedicated a day to Health and Wellness which this project made possible! We organize weekly events, have food, and hygiene products readily available and so much more. We are eager to continue to dedicate our time on these key things for our scholars and thank you for your support! None, of this would be possible without you!”

• Help Renew Our Schoolyard Recess Time! Children Learn Through play

  We had such an amazing event and following events with your donations. The scholars who were sharing equipment and stuck with limited resources were able to expand their learn through play. This helped not only them physically but, mentally also! Getting outside, being active, and having fun! One of the best ways to get it going!   It is such an honor to have folks like you in the scholar's orbit. Seeing how grateful they were and still are. Being able to come to their aid when they are struggling is such a gift. They have many obstacles we wish we could cure overnight and while these measures are a temporary solution it truly does propel them through their day.
