• Let's Spark Their Minds With A Kindle Fire

  Thank you for supporting our students. My classroom now has technology that we didn't have access to before. My students can learn online and do activities that boost their learning and they have fun doing it.

  Your generosity has made technology possible for many students who don't always have access to it. They may not have technology at home or they may not have internet access to use. Now in school they can learn and keep engaged in their learning.

• Busy With Books

  Thank you so much for contributing to our classroom library. I wanted to enhance our library for the students.

  It is time for the books that I share with my students to reflect their images. I want them to be able to relate to the stories.

  When I shared the books with them, I heard them say, "Her hair is cool, it's like mine." Or "I really liked that book. Can you read more books like that to us?"

  If it helps them relate in any way and connect to reading and literature I'm going to do it.

  So thanks to YOU, my kids enjoyed books more and connected better to what I was reading. You are our HEROES.”

• Technology Time!

  Thank you so much for contributing to our classroom project Technology Time. This year has been unprecedented in so many ways. Our students were sent home on a Friday in March and never came back. Many didn't have materials at home. So when it came time to work online, the students didn't have internet, tablets, computers, etc.

  Our district went into full action getting the students what they needed to start online learning for the first time. They used all the technology we had in the district and shared with the families in need.

  So we then went hybrid in the fall and frequently went back to all online, on and off during Covid.

  You helped to provide Kindles for the classroom. So when they did return in person, the kids could get onine and work on the apps and websites they needed to do their work. Thanks for stepping up in a year like no other. You are my heroes.”

• The Comfy Cozy Classroom Carpet!

  I can't thank you enough for helping my classroom by providing us a wonderful new carpet. We use it every single day and the students are so excited about it.

  Every student now has a designed spot. They are still learning about personal space in Kindergarten, so the individual rectangles are helping them learn how to keep in one area and gives the others around them enough room. It also cuts down on transition time with each of them knowing exactly where to go each time.

  They are so proud of the carpet. They are taking great care of it. You are all wonderful people for donating to help the children. This experience showed all the students how much people care about them.
